21st May. Or the 22nd.
I'd prefer the 21st, but it's a Saturday and I know there's track.Basically, 'er indoors is having a baby shower. I don't want to go to track, come back and well, you can imagine the picture. I would like to go for a longer ride, perhaps out to the coast (brighton?? I've not conquered Ditchling yet) perhaps just the hills of Kent. Or perhaps a longer roll through Kent to, er, somewhere?
anyone?
Provisionally titled Bad Dad/Mum Ride?

Anyone keen for an early, long-ish ride on the 14th? Sundays are kind of out of order for one reason or another at the moment, but am busting to get in some miles one of these weekends.

I'm planning on a london brighton on 21st with some lurkers. For some mad reason agreed to do it on my lead-weight 70GI commuter bike. For once will not be looking foward to Ditchling.

I would like to ride out to Cobham/Effingham from Richmond Park to do the Surrey Rumble Route and ride back to RP. Long steady ride should end up just under 200km.

• #90
If this is on Saturday, I will join you for a lap of Richmond Park before you Rumble?

How does this look?

[/ame]Surrey Grumble - Sunday 8 May 2011
GPX
.gpx?sub_format=track
Garmin TCX
.tcx
Cue sheet as CSV
.csv167km of nice rolling Surrey Countryside. Contrary to the thread title, this is a mostly flat route, cobbled together and featuring the route from the Surrey Rumble Sportive.
Leaving the cafe in Richmond Park at 8.30 sharp. I would like to maintain a steady pace. I will, as usual be taking my gears. If you are happy to spend 8+ hours spinning a fixed gear, good on yer.
There is an option of meeting at Effingham junction at around 9.15.
I will not be stopping for lunch, even though the Cricketers in Cobham serves Shere Drop.

Keen.
Anyway I've managed to derail this thread so time to go elsewhere and let the folk on here talk about hard hilly riding again.
Goodnight.
