That's very old school (to be fair to Sheldon, he died before HED pointed us towards the benefits of wider rims, although motorcyclists had been doing it for at least a couple of decades before that), I'd go with something more like this:

Just put my 35C Ritchey tyre onto a Mavic TN719, which is 19/25 on your table.

Now on the Mavic site they recommend 1.5" to 2.3", does this mean that I am going to die?
