just to confirm, the idea is to ride from one pub to another and have a drink(or few) in each one of them to get completely and utterly pissed and keep riding?

Traditionally with pub crawl rides, 1 pint per pub is considered enough unless you're Mr Mental. I might do it with halves.

we're only going to like 5 pubs, so two in each is fine.

I know we haven't had a proper Grand Slam in a while, but it's not that difficult or stressful, though it is drunken. Drink at your own pace, we have what 6 maybe 7 pubs to go to, the rides, especially south easts to north's and east to west, gives plenty of time for sobering up. There need not be this much discussion/debate or worrying.

how come ? on the rays xmas jumper one we managed to find our way to 9 or so pubs ( i may have lost count a bit towards the end ) ? plus tinnies at brick lane to finish it all off at midnight

there is a list somewhere further back, but we are doing pubs in order of day, and not combining old/favourite pubs,
souths - coach and horses
south easts - roebuck
norths - flask
easts - britannia??
wests - pear tree
central - black friar and the miller

this by decree of jonny and murts and all issues, should be taken up with them..

the xmas jumper ride was an orgy of drunkenness never to be repeated, though I'm sure someone will try..
