my dad was working on the house once and drilled a hole in the wall and then he crossed the room to get the parts he needed to attach the bracket he bought and walked back tripped on the drill cord and fell into the wall, wedding ring finger went in the hole and snapped clean off at the wedding ring. the snapped part falling into the wall cavity, so he just put the bracket up and left his finger in the wall
true story.
