  • Gilet: appalling concept, but functional win. I've got 3 of the fuckers now.

    • Winter weight: roasty toasty, use with arm warmers, or long sleeved jersey, and throw a showerproof over the top if it gets into sub 5 degrees territory. Works up to about 10 degrees over a summer weight jersey, but you have to work the zip.

    • Mid weight, mesh back: now does spring/autumn commute duties, with t-shirt and optional armwarmers.

    • Ultralight weight, mesh back: sandwiched between base layer and jersey for early season TTs in 0-10 degree temps; warmer spring/autumn rides over summer jersey; easy to stow in pocket, and keep there for emergency temp changes or ultra-bonk.

Truly "the best a man can gay".

^sorry, none of the items listed are Rapha products (Champ-Sys, Gore, Craft).

I am worried that I am similarly equipped

Merino Gillet for winter (from embers)
Semi lightweight for winter training rides
Lightweight to act as a windbreak
