Scooping/BJ ing the ball into goal is not allowed, so scooping the ball into your wheel then into goal should also not be allowed.
Hitting the ball into your wheel then into goal should be allowed.
I know this makes it hard for ref's to enforce, but just saying.
Anything that does not originate as a shot is not counted as goal, unless it strikes opponent mallet, in which case, I would probably say the ball was live again, and call it a goal.
So to imagine a plausible situation, Player 1 Team A passes out of a ball-joint in the direction of Player 2 Team A, who is lurking just outside the D, but misjudges the pass, and it goes too close to Player 1 Team B, who is guarding the goal.
Player 1 Team B misjudges it also, and instead of shuffling the ball back out to Player 2 Team B, it spins up off, over & behind his mallet, through his bottom bracket into the goal. I would call this a goal.
