It was a shame the group got split up so quickly. Was v lovely site to see flickering red lights as far as the eye could see at Blackheath, but then people just seemed to disappear into the night and at one stage I though me and Cafewanda would be cycling the whole route my ourselves, but we quickly found another lovely group, and met up with ms chris' bunch.
The thing is, with such a large group and different skills/attitudes/fitnesss levels it would be hard to keep the group together and if people want to speed on, then fair enough! Re: the RLJ, well, again, that's up to people innit...I only did it once or twice on the quieter bits not wanting to lose sight of the person in front once I was back with a group who seemed to know where they were going!
Who was the bloke in the sorta green, orange and white (?) striped beanie, with headphones? Thanks to you fella for your directional skillz too!
