my next project has been damaged in transportation. now i am looking for any suggestions as to how i should fix this - before i go asking around my locale, any thoughts from lfgss?
If you have time, try the procedure with the courier or seller. One of them did a poor job.
About the repair: I think it's a 5 min job and the final result is nearly perfect. Cold, with adjustable spanners or (better) dropout alignment tools. Or a bench vice. Derailleur hangers / road dropouts look more frigile to me and these can be repaired cold even when it's bent almost 90 degrees.
Can't guarantee it though, so, better contact the courier.
