Yss, the track rings have 6 arms whose cross section is nearly as big as the 5 arms of a classic Record spider, fine for track use where the chain doesn't pull sideways on the ring. The cranks and axle are pretty floppy compared with modern kit, but mounting the ring on a small boss is just like BMX cranks.
