We have a cowardly expression in our office. It goes "hmm, my feeling is that.....". It means "you're talking shit or your opinion is irrelevant, here's my idea.....". By talking about your 'intuitive feelings' as an autonomous emotional response, you sidestep the fact that, basically, you disagree. It's rife here; everyone goes around saying it.
"So what do you think of my proposed elevation?" she said. "Hmm, my feeling is that it could be better articulated like this..." etc.
Architecture doesn't do the usual management jargon on the whole, but we do have our own language of bullshit. Honestly, it's unreal.
