Artfully bent old valves actually. Very smart.

I cycled back from Cambridge, arriving home with just enough time for a bike swap/bottle top-up/30 minute rest before heading out for the last hour of power. Just so you know. No pressure or anything.
Yeah no pressure there at all...
Spectaculary failing to ride home and thinking the train is a better idea so should be there.

I'm babysitting. Last minute affair.
Problem?
(Upstart: If you can get to the Heart hospital, I can lend you my lights plus brackets. Will need them back though)

Day-Moe that's very kind of you. Am hopefully going to sort out an insulating tape based jury rig (as I'll need the things to head south anyway) but offer much appreciated.

Suddenly unsure of this evening's communal circling, and their unique ability to lower one's self-confidence. Might head for Highgate instead.
Dunno.

I'll be fixed and slow! If you don't show there is a distinct lack of viable drafting-targets on the top straight :P

I'm definitely elsewhere, shrouded in darkness, purgeing the acid hurt from the lifting of the dead, a nostalgic communion with the chill of yesteryear and a peculiar turn of events.

I've been feeling shit all week, I suspect I may have the same man flu as CB.
I'm still planning to come and give it a go, but it may end in tears*.
*or me peeling off after a lap or two and going home.

S'just one of those days where I'll get six laps round before wriggling out from under the office atomsphere, tis all. Mind you, a few circles could be just the cathartic ticket.
Banana's on standby.

I think I'm 40/60 for this at the moment. Going to leave it at that.

Careful not to get in the way of Nick and catharsis. I should be out of the office and nipping home to dump my bag and put the aero bars on. Only I'm being stood up, for the third time today, by tardy tardy peeps. It hugely frustrating. I may just pack up and leave, leaving them scratching their heads at my disappearance when they finally get here. Blah.

Old man legs?
No.
Well, I am rapidly approaching 38, so in some ways, yes.

^as always.
I also forgot to bring a shirt in this morning and had to go buy one. Could probably have made one out of insulating tape too.
