Ok this is my project...first build ever, I got the whole bike for 40 swiss francs (27 £). The brand says 'WEINMANN', I think it is a swiss bike, bought it only because I want to restore it and 'train' on it. Bike was very dirty and rusty.
I then took off everything that was too old or I didn't like (like the geared hub or the derailleur or brakes)
Couldn't get the bottom bracket...it's really stuck. But it works.
I am now taking off the paint...long job...and then I'll paint it again. This is the hardest part...because after that, once the frame is ready, all I have to do is use $$$$ to buy parts and mount them...of course my idea is that of paying as little as possible. I know I won't have a good bike but it will be my first, cheap build.
