  • You'd need double jointed wrists to ride on those hoods!

    Totally
Road levers on track bars = fail

  • Hmmm good points. I'll be checking this bike and the langster steel out later on

    Test ride FTW.

  • I'm looking to make some changes to my Giant Bowery Mash Up, has anyone ant ideas what I should be looking to change/improve.
Can I put a larger chainset?

All ideas will be taken into consideration

    Dave Fixies rule

  • Ok, here's what you've done wrong:

    1. Put it in the wrong section.
    2. Haven't told us what changes you have in mind or why you want to change things or what you want to improve/what you think is wrong
    3. By 'larger chainset' I guess you mean a bigger chainring? But you haven't told us what is on there already. And you haven't said why you might want one.

You need to make your questions more specific and provide a lot more information. It also helps if you can show that you have used the Search (^up there) to check if what you are asking has been asked before. The more you give the more you will get.

  • Well you can put gears on it if you want to upgrade...

  • my 08 bowery had the bars and stem switched out after 2 months of constant tightening of the bolts.
the back wheel was replaced after 6 spokes failed.
the seatpin and saddle switched to something lighter.
i also got a silver (colour) hope seat collar for pimp factor.

    bowery for king!

  • My 08 developed the infamous creaking forks (replaced under warranty) and the BB has started getting a bit noisy, but overall it's been solid. I quite like this years '72, the bars/hoods looks ok for my small hands that can get away with such angles, but I haven't seen it in the flesh.

  • i've got veneers

  • Quite tempted by Bowery '84 where I could find one? So far found only online at squarewheels ib 55cm but would love to try The 58.5cm one
    Any tips?

  • You can try but I doubt you can find a 2009 model anytime soon, the latest Bowery are all steel.

  • Here is a link

I just ordered one and it should be with soon :)))))))))))))))))) price 570 pounds with delivery so not so bed.
