  • I have grown up pedals now so even fewer excuses.

  • And new cranks

  • (iz there space for me?)

  • D, there is always space for you... Youre small enough to fit almost anywhere you like!

  • Always room for Damo. I'll make space for you at number 2 in fact

Thursdays,1830hrs for 1845 departure at the large gate opposite York Bridge, Inner Circle. Then up and out for some anti-clockwise Outer Circle fun.
20mph+ average, but if you can't hold on, worry not! Form your own little train for light relief. Lap times are between 7:00 and 8:00, with a possible slow lap/rolling rest after the first 4. Stop after 8 laps/22 miles. Or earlier, if you're a slacker (no shame in that). A little bit of a rest, then off to LMNF for recovery.

  • Actually, I had a go on his crabon thingy last night. I think he'll be dropping us if he can stay on it

  • its not about the bike

  • no?

(6pt is going to be getting well naffed off with all this non-power chatter!)

  • you may continue.

  • Last nights TNRC mustve been gooooooooooooood... He seems to be in a good mood.

  • He hasn't ammended the list for 4 days! I think something's up.....

  • over 500 miles last week may have some influence...

But then again, i think hes waiting for the next one but only at the last minute so we cant fuck it up too much.

    damn ListNazi!

  • More sodding leaving drinks tomorrow night, apparently these are also mine?

    #sodthat

  • *Pete, feeling the pressure, whips out his little book of excuses and thumbs through its worn and ragged pages. He flicks past the obvious - the hangovers, the punctures, the incoming cold and the outgoing one, he continues past his bookmarked specials, the red ribbon poking out between the pages as if it were sticking a tongue out at his commitments. He stops, about two thirds of the way through. The One-off Excuses section. He slides his finger down the page, eyes squinting.

That'll do, he thinks, and with the joy of a man who has once more dodged a bullet, posts his get-out for all to see*

  • Ha ha, no, you've misunderstood, I meant the hash tag, I am doing the hour of power, they'll just have to have 'my' leaving drinks without me*. I shall bring your tyres.

I'm desperate for bike related activity after missing TNRC, I'm not a bad colleague. Honest.

    • I may go along later, sweaty and tired.

"You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to 6pt again."

  • ^cruelly denied.

Wow, that is a good excuse not to turn up if i ever heard one!
  • I'm not leaving until 29th April (well actually 28th, as the 29th is a Bank Holiday). My leaving drinks will be on the evening of the 28th, in a dodgy pub, with whoever turns up, as leaving drinks should be. Can't be doing with continual round of leaving drinks way before people leave!

  • I'm not leaving until 29th April

You've just volunteered to help me move house on the 30th. Good man ;-)
