Quite appropriate...Bigbear have gotten back to me; they've spoken to Sidi and Sidi have asked for photos. Have to say,that's more than I was expecting and super quick from them.
I've actually had another proper look at the shoes and they're not that bad, it just looks worse because the poncy 'vernice' finish has come off so the damage looks deeper than it actually is. I'll get pictures though for Sidi and see what they say.
