A bunch of not so exciting photos here as there was not much time for snapping whilst marshalling! Some nice ones of Team Marshal at rest though.
Great day out, well done everyone. Went and got some food after Bethnal Green and lost the ability to move afterwards so i hope the afterparty went well.

Still yet to see a good pic of me, pink Mason track bike no38, moleskins and stubble.
Another hats off to the marshals, sorry for overtaking you Alex on the Mall. We had drag sprints last year and I was feeling keen.
Top Marshalling all round and another big thanks to Jacqui, for keeping us all in line and out of the ale houses.
Will get my pics developed and up here, seem to remember taking more photos of the beautifully dressed ladies, a few attempted portraits and puppies in the park than bikes or the actual ride. I haven't used the camera in about 5 years and the light meter wasn't working so don't get your hopes up. Thanks for the film photoben. -

You guys looked amazing on it. Glad I could hook you up and that you had a great time.
Looked amazing with the saddles and pump sorted. Let me know if you want to hang on to it for a week or so to play around on, it sits idle most of the year anyway. -

Thanks to you all for putting up with my wedding invasion, and providing the Routemaster with a bicycle bell fanfare as we departed.
I hadn't told my guests we were going to meet you at the tea break, and they were delighted with their surprise

Thanks to Alex for all the hard work it'll helped the Marshals know what they needed to do. Was hard work for the day but seeing all the smiling faces made it really rewarding.
Lovely day all in all, thank you everyone

yesterday went exceedingly smoothly. that's due mostly to alex and the marshals. i heard so many good comments from participants about how great the marshaling was, and how wonderfully they handled the ride, so let me express my heartfelt thanks to the marshals for all the time and effort they put in, both yesterday and on the constant recces the run-up to the event. it was great to know that the ride was in safe hands. and i really want to thank alex, who organised and trained all the marshals and went well above and beyond in her duties. the day could not have happened without her and her team, so thank you to you all.

There's a certain facial expression us Marshalls seem to have had throughout the ride.

Thanks for the nice day everyone!
I was hoping to win a prize for highest male waistband... perhaps next year? -

I believe mine would have given you a run for your money. Hence why I discretely covered it with a pullover.

Wow, what an absolutely top day out that was! Without wanting to repeat what everyone else has said too much; big, big thanks and massive props to the organizers of this awesome bike ride. This surely has to be up there as one of London's premier annual bike events now, doesn't it?
I made a little time lapse film from atop my penny farthing handlebars which you may want to see. It's on my blog at www.velopoly.com where I've written a bit more about all the fun I had yesterday.

Hi, Mrs Sniffy here (aka Rubyshoes):
Just amazing......told a friend today it was the 5th best day of my life....that is, after wedding day with Sniffy (!!!) & having our 3 gorgeous kids. So it's right up there, a high accolade.Loved meeting all you lovely people. Now realise I need a new bike after seeing so much beauty. Thanks to everyone for making it so much fantastic, positive & wholesome fun.
Think we all should start wearing costume tweed a bit more often, actually - it felt a bit too good, a bit too just-right!
thank you! and thanks for putting up with my relentless bossiness!
