a fair question ; personally i find the post-ironic rehashing of the 1980s Ironmaiden T-shirt aesthetic a bit obnoxious ; or rather, i find the idea of wanting to display that image on ones chest obnoxious.

it is purely my opinion, though, that's all. I merely wanted to make the point that I'm disappointed that i can't take part in these things anymore, as i could when the first run of LFGSS t-shirts was produced - they were much more my cup of tea.

Personally, i'm all for the ostentatious design, i'd prefer it to having lots of brand logos all over the place and it's more interesting than just a plain cycling jersey. If the quality's as good as the price tag suggests, it's all win for me.
