Oddly enough, it's slightly more true than homoeopathy. The gravitational pull of C2010X1 would need to be about 1e12 times greater than it actually is to be bigger than the usual monthly variation in the moon's pull, at which scale it would be probably have a small but measurable effect on the water tides. 30C Homoeopathic dilutions would need to be 1e36 times stronger for there to be a >50% chance of containing at least one molecule of active ingredient.

Probably something to do with your inability to put 2 and 2 together.
