You jokers are clearly fakengers of walking, or at least hipsterexic. I have nike skate shoes, and other skate shoes like globes and vans. They are all too squishy and then dont give your foot any support in the form on snugness/lace tension.
Stuff like old school vans and chucks give your foot support and are not squishy, but the problem is that the sole is so thin. So for any long walk, the constant pressure of uneven cobbles and trying to tip toe over them makes walking incredibly innefficient.
Of course it depends on foot width as well, however my orthopaedist told me optimally shoes need a stiff sole (so that you can't fold it with your hands) and should have stiff walls around the ankle.
If I remember correctly the 6.0's were solid, very stiff, they just didn't come in my size. Vans were always loose noodles in comparison, at least in the pathetic selection we have here.
