• Not knowing what to expect is the best part!

It's up to you whether or not to join, but if you've ridden this distance before then no worries i'd say. The average speed will depend on how many we are and the conditions, so I wouldn't get hung-up on numbers... it's not like we will shoot off like some lycra-clad roadie with adequacy issues on club run. Also, if anyone is struggling during the day for whatever reason, i'll have a pre-mixed cocktail of coffee, roids and speed ready to go.

    Steroids or hemorrhoids?

Decisions, decisions... okay so here's the spiel. My head says "go to Bristol, you need to get the miles in", while my heart says "go to Cambridge, it's only 60 and it'll be a saunter"

With family comitments it now seem I'll be doing this ride and ditching the Cambs one. I spoke to Sam on the Bridges ride, and he convinced/soft peddled this as an easy relatively flat ride

@Stonehedge please don't miss out 'cos your not sure about averaging 15 or 16, I can asure you that you'll be the one drafting me!

Jesus, I really have become a bit of a fanny. Please ignore my last few posts. Wind or no wind, group or no group, I'll see you at Farnie at the start and you'll see me at the end at some point for a pint of finest cider.

I've just stocked up on power bars and I feel as fit as a butchers dog. If I don't finish, its not going to be due to lack of HTFU or you can call me Florence.

EDIT: As long as the wind isn't bonkers because I KNOW I can't handle a century into 15+
