Gears are welcome, i'll probably be doing a lot of them geared. Also, i'm having a slow week (today, anyway) so hanging on shouldn't be much of an issue.
@upstart i would say htfu, but if you're struggling to get on top of that as a gear there's no harm in adding a tooth on the back and dropping down to 78". You want to be comfortable, and we won't be cruising at the 23ish that spinning 84 becomes comfortable.
Also, didn't see you at the track! I was moping in the middle. For most of the day.
