Freezing the fruit compote (apple sauce), I have found is the best way of keeping it. After around 10-12days it just went a bit bad in the fridge, so i freeze it in batches. This might just be my crappy fridge though!

biscuit bake-off currently under way in the office... my snicker doodles came out fucking perfect and a lot of the others are fecking shite but still people are moaning mine are too chocolatey (after they've eaten 9 other biscuits already) and heard one comment that it was too 'cakey' as they're chewy in the center (which they're meant to be).

I know everyone's entitled to an opinion but ffs it's ridiculous. everyone's fawning over some vol-au-vent pastry blobs with melted cheese on top. it's not even a fucking biscuit.

I will bring baked goods to forum drinks instead as even if people don't like them they're nice enough to say they do :)
