I don't know what wizardry you are talking of, but the ball does have an inconsistency in the wall at the "bobble" part. You can see it in profile and you can feel it when you draw your finger across it (I love fingering balls).

That being said, I'm sure it'll be fine. Balls get chewed up (I love chewing balls) pretty quickly anyway.

Dunno then , i'll pass a new one for you to John next time he 's up. If it is defective please let me have it and i'll try to hassle the factory if they are not doing any quality control.
