• There's always something :)

I promised myself that the 2k I spent last month would be my last bike spending for a couple of months, but then my helmet broke, and of course I couldn't buy a cheap replacement, or even source a bargain - straight to Condor I went to drop £130... and I have just spent the last half hour looking at shoes and pedals :/

Neil, even your training wheels sound expensive - I was thinking I'd just get some Aksiums or super cheapo pro-lites. I don't think i'll ever go in for tubs though.. but then, I honestly never thought I'd end up spooging money on carbon road bikes.

I know you probably already considered this. But shoes are not the place to start saving money. So you'll have to continue the big spending. I've basically got my heart set on some S-works. Means I'll have 4 pairs of cycling shoes though, to add to my 4 pairs of running shoes, and 3 pairs of rugby shoes. But I need to keep my feet happy, if I'm going to do any sport.
