How many other bridges could they build to take bicycles on a parallel road or two? You have options like the underpass on Devas St/Twelvetrees Crescent at Bromley, or the rather difficult Tredegar Rd/Wick Lane bridge, but both are too much of a detour. A bike/pedestrian bridge at Bromley High St would be better.
