The purists are calling for not just any Stronglight, even that nice 99 style job you have, but a Stronglight 49D or TA Cyclotouriste.
On the front light, you really want to surgically insert your existing Cree lamp unit into the shell of something more aesthetically fitting, so you get the best of both worlds.
