Thanks for the advice on the tyres, I'll probably switch them for something gumwall when I've got my monies' worth out of these.

And put a bolt/washer in the lamp mount on the fork. Or a lamp.

I've been looking for reasonably priced chrome lamps that aren't dynamo and have pokey leds... know of any? I've got a CREE torch+lockblock for now, and shall fill that lamp mount for the time being, just as soon as Screwfix send me a big bag o' bolts.

Maybe a TA/stronglight chainset one day when you're feeling flush. The one on there is lovely as well though.

That is a stronglight chainset... I did consider TA, but I found that stronglight one for a good price. the current chainring (46t I think) is probably too small for the 12-24 block, though, so will probably stick a 52 on it.
