what made you go for the drilled BB? will you not be riding in the rain?

It's just a nice little touch. Not really for weight saving.

I think he said earlier that it was a fair-weather bike, so it prolly won't be seeing any rain.

Not really. I'm not going to be anal about it, but if it's raining or wet I'll take the tourer or fixed. No biggie.

Yeah, I like that forum, but rarely post on there. Have accounts on all the bike forums to be honest. I spend too much time looking at bikes.
