Have you taken it out on the road with the cadence sensor so it can auto-calibrate against gps movement data instead of sitting on a turbo where the zeroing readings might confuse it a little? First time I rode with my cadence sensor, after about 30 seconds it beeps up with "wheel size calculated". guessing it finds this harder to do if it's got no data to check against.
