true, true. I spend many a happy Sunday afternoon alternating between getting angry at the cunts and then furiously masturbating at the faptastic right hand column.

Spotter that video is incredible. It's not uncommon for the UK to experience tremors. A few years ago at my parents in Nottingham we felt one. I was lying on the floor watching TV, when all of a sudden I was being raised a couple of cm's off the ground a few times. It was a small tremor, but powerful enough to lift my body weight. I felt like I was vibrating. All the street came outside once it had finished to see whether we'd felt the same thing.

We can see the protestors on the roof of the Libyan Embassy from our office - flying their flags -
We walked through the police lines to go get a sandwich at lunchtime, round the back they have closed the road and got a couple of ambulances, that seem a little over-equipped for ambulances ... what's going on with the huge satellite dish and various other bits of kit? Are they some sort of surveillance vehicles 'under-cover' ?

Possible compromise at Chain Reaction Cycles. Checking your debit/credit card statements if you have ordered anything from them recently is probably a good idea.
If you used paypal you may be OK.

Libyan cease fire! Yey!!
-
• #2666
Fucking finally!
Although it would have been better for gadaffi's forces to persist and get bombed, that would put him out of power quicker. A cease fire just drags it out even longer. Obviously its preferred if no bombs are dropped, I just have such little trust in that regime that this cease fire just sounds like them covering their arses.
Its the same-old waltz, in two years it'll all be forgotten and Gadaffi will be making deals with every-one again. The ever-lasting cycle of global bullshit.

absolutely.
+1 here too... very well put.
That's amazing.
I've got a friend from university who lives in Funabashi-shi, Chiba and works in Tokyo. He has a wife and a baby girl and was very glad to be working from home on the day of the quake. He's pretty much been 'don't panic everyone it will be fine', but the Home Office advice to Britons in Tokyo is now to leave. It's pretty worrying.
