  • My girlfriend bought me my first ever bit of Rapha for my birthday in November - a Paul Smith jersey.*

    It was all bobbled after just wearing it in the house for an evening though, so Rapha said "send it back" and I got a replacement. *

    But when that got here the hem wasn't sewed properly. They said they'd had problems with this product and people had sent them back.*

    Generously they said they'd replace it with another jersey and give me some vouchers, so I sent it back for a second time.*

    Now, today, four months after I was given it and with me yet to be able to wear it, I was told they wouldn't do that any more - it was a mix-up and they shouldn't have offered it.*

    So my girlfriend got a refund that didn't quite cover the cost of the jersey, I got no birthday present and Rapha lost a customer.*

    If the quality is ropey, and the service poor, what's the point?

    I love some of their designs, but my experience with them has been really, really poor. The marketing is all hype.*
