  • That frame is made by Fast Boy Cycle, of whom build it for his girlfriend (now wife).

it was made specifically for everyday riding in New York, light, 1x8 (I think) gearing, comfortable laid back handlebar and integrated rack to carry stuff (lighter and possibly stronger depending on how it's build).

The 'stermey archies kick back 2 spd hubs' is a great little hubs, if it for your missus, I'd go for a kickback only hubs rather than the coaster and have two brake fitted.

it's not hard to put together a bike like that, any old frame with mudguard/rack mount, paint it, add wheel and big tyres, moustache bar and brooks saddle and you'll be fine.

Cheers again ed, probably going to wait until I can get trade or whatever after I passed probation at work to keep the costs down. On a different note I believe I was handling some rims that belong to you the other day (ooh err missus) - Ceramic open pros I think they're surely not for the gansta?
