Cheers guys, I knew it was a long shot (a very long shot), but it was worth a try just to get some info.
I did warn her to put her cable lock through the seat rails, but what can you do, eh?!
I've told her to get a new seatpost clamp when she gets her saddle later. God knows why Pashley supply a Brooks saddle with their bikes and then have a quick release seatpost clamp in the first place.
