You've no chance of recovery, mate. Even if a suspicious saddle is being flogged by shady ner-do-wells, how can you prove it's your girlfriend's saddle?
Put it down to experience, buy a new saddle, and glue a ball bearing into the allen key socket of the saddle clamp.
