I DAS'd someone on Brunel Road this evening (was OldSkoolRacer, maybe).

I was driving at the time, so it may have just sounded like random drive-by abuse.

It's one of a number of German phrases that I will throw around, completely oblivious as to their true meaning.

It's irresponsible, and cavalier, I know.

But I can't help myself.

"Und zwar" is a conjunction corresponding roughly to 'namely' or 'specifically', but it doesn't mean anything outside of a sentence construction. You wouldn't say "furchtbar" in this context. :)

Total fail on my part as I usually knacker myself out going to work as fast as possible as it's the only exercise I'll get for 8 hours. Add going home and back to work again and I was proper fucked by the time I actually got into the office.

Should be "Stotterbremsen". Yes, but I think that's mainly about cars, too.

On a more positive note, a girl in a pink top on a Unipack with a Brooks saddle absolutely caning it up OKR past a startled Cerveloist who tried to give chase but was dropped. Good spinning miss.

Spotted this girl last year from May again tonight about 6.30 heading south on OKR into New X, now with lights added to spokes on front wheel.

She was very fast last year, she's now the fastest rider I think I have ever seen on any bike on OKR. Inhuman cadence; I couldn't twiddle my 65" gear as fast as she was bombing in 70-something.
