What should we stock in our new London shop?

I think if you listen to us you will end up with half a million quid in stock.

How about as a customer the purchase goes as follows:

• Order your parts on-line from the Planet-X website
  
• Select "Deliver to London Store"
  
• Go to the shop next day, collect your parts
  
• Use the bike fettling area and tools to fit said parts, with the ability to ask people who are qualified to check your work
  
• If you are not confident to fit your parts pay a mechanic to do it for you, whilst you watch and learn how to do it
  
  

That way you don't have to keep a massive stock selection, you can keep it in the warehouse and put it on the (daily?) delivery truck. You get additional revenue as a percentage of people will pay a mechanic to fit a part. Sell people coffee to drink as they fit their parts- you can give tea away free if you want.

You'll end up as the number one choice for both online and shop bought parts as you combine the two- benefit of internet prices plus the comfort of a qualified mechanic- and you get the extra margin from the fitting work.
