Right ... went to Guys and St Thomas minor injuries unit. They were actually very good.
Got xrayed straight away as they suspected stress fracture of the tibia. Nothing showed. So they say for now they suspect MCL inflammation. However, they said fractures often don't show, and if not better in two weeks or so they'd re-xray and see whether a started healing process of a fracture would show.
In the meantime, physio, ibuprofen, light non-weightbearing exercises.
