i'm now own this frame. im trying to decide on parts. wheels are causing me a problem:
i want to get on the track this year and start what will hopefully become a permanent hobby, i hope to compete etc. i dont want to buy/build a nice wheelset that suits the build to find out that they arent suitable for track riding. SO, i need some advice. do you think mavic ellipses would suit this frame (the build will be minimalist, mostly chrome with black tape and a black saddle)?
OR do i build a nice wheelset (maybe suzue hubs with box section rims)?
could someone photoshop some ellipses onto the frame for me?
so yes, this is me pleading for someone who has better photoshop skills than me to help me in my quest for an aesthetically pleasing, yet functional (on track) bike. and yes, i do know that an alu build with more modern technology will be better suited to the track, but fuck it, i've bought a steel frame because i love it.
