im not sure if its already been put here but i got one of these today and it might be of use to tourers planning on carrying awkward size bottles,

pretty good bottle cage that can expand to fit different size bottles for fuel / thermos / whatever your carrying. people have used them for tents apparently. Means for me I can carry a fuel bottle under my downtube keeping it away from my clothes and anythnig else in my panniers. It can move right back towards the bottom bracket, enough clearence even with mud guards for a large bottle. Mk 3 has quick release so its easy to pop on and off
