eating hamza dates apparently prolongs life, thats what he told me, past away in sept 2000 :(
but very happy he didn't see 911, he was a total mercenary when it came to conflict (ex marine / SBS, secret ops in bosnia) by then i think most of the dates were given away..
the old man's lottery ticket story was very funny... it was his way of buying himself into that small immaculate heaven he craved for..
