As we have the whole glorious day off work (hopefully) I can see no reason why it must be either/or Republic or Guinness. Maybe a long demanding ride in the morning, will be good counterbalance to the stout festivities of the evening.
As we are now in March, don't forget to pick up your Guinness foam hat if you are intending to join the evening ride.
