May not be terribly interesting, but the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 finally gets Froyo, via a custom ROM of course, but a good one it seems. Fast too. It's called the FreeX10, and is shown with its benchmarked test here: http://smartphonebenchmarks.com/ (look down the list)

I just realised that the Xperia X10, with the FreeX10 software ROM-bypass (Froyo 2.2), is faster in this benchmark than the LG Optimus 2X (dual core cpu), and only slightly less fast than the HTC Desire HD that is running at 49% overclocked. I knew it was a good phone. Shame Sony Ericsson wouldn't give it the support it deserved.
