I basically have all parts for a new build, I just need to decide on a frame. New, OTP, will only be used on the road, not more than £350, size about 53 c-t. If the kilo tt were available in europe I probably would have bought it. I want something not too pricey that I can ride careless. I'm torn between three options,
brothercycles frame
gromada custom
some examples
or the new goldsprint frame.
I like the classic look of the lugged brothercycles frame. plus it has clearances for fenders (though I doubt I'm gonna install any). 4130 chromoly tubing. price is £350 (including shipping, im not in the uk)
the gromada would be about the same price, dedacciai tubing. Im not too fond of the frames on his website, but the second picture is of a custom frame from somebody on a danish forum, and that one is really nice.
goldbike would be the cheapest, about £300 shipped from berlin. slacker head tube angle than the other ones though. Welded frame, made from Columbus Thron. If it werent for the straight fork I probably would have bought one already. although it requires an ahead set, and I have only parts for a threaded fork here.
