Pre-Play-off Discussion on Reffing; Call for Refs to Meet

In my opinion, it would be very useful for all the refs to have a meeting to discuss the rules, how to enforce them & general things like, as Pique mentioned above, having a word with both teams beforehand, not least to check bikes & mallets, but also to clarify what sort of game you expect to see.

It's not too late in the season to do it.

I would be up for this. I certainly feel I could learn a lot from some of you guys who have reffed a lot in the past. Maybe before the playoffs anyone who is interested in reffing can sit down and go through the rules together, and how they would handle certain situations. And if people are willing maybe ref a few practice games together, and see how we would handle different situations.
