Yep. I have reffed many, many league games over the last three years. But if people want to call my reffing a "worst excuse" and "ignored/rubbish ref" then I am done.
Not that I recall anyone ever objecting to any specific incident in the dozens of league games I've reffed, but apparently now there are serious problems with my reffing philosophy, in the abstract, so fuck it.
And good luck finding more refs if people keep bitching they way they did when John H volunteered yesterday.
