I just want to say that reffing is a hard task once a tough game comes up.
Let's not discourage anyone from reffing.
I have a fair bit of experience but would definitely struggle sometimes to make a correct decision.
Though I would make warnings but let like for like teams battle it out.
I don't think anyone is up to a decent reffing standard and we have to do what we can and as best as possible.
We need people to want to come forward as refs and not shy away.
However, refs need to have balls too and not be frightened to make a call and deal with consequences.
I will always abide by any referee even if I think their decision is the wrong one.
I will also always play to the whistle and get on with the game at all times taking any advantage when need be.
We all know the basic rules. The game's getting tougher and we need to play safe but play hard.
That's how I see it.
