obviously the guy was trying some stupid shit that didn't work, but it's his right to try it, not your right to shout at someone who hits you in the face. Unless they did it intentionally.

I'm not sure I get this. Doing stupid stuff that may be dangerous is fine as long as there is no intention of hurting other players? (I don't care about the other guys reaction). Just because there is a way to protect yourself from something, and you have that protection, does not mean you automatically can play as if everyone else has that protection ("face cage or shut up").
