I think it's totally self-defeating to vote in a rule structure and then say it's fine to ignore it.
Of course it's not fine to ignore it, but I could list a handful of other teams that have, so a precedent has been set.
Those teams just didn't say anything, played the games a bit late, and it was all fine.
The spirit of the rules is so that future fixtures don't get delayed, as long as that doesn't happen it's really not an issue.
Obviously now that it has been raised here it's better to get the committee to decide.
