Speaking of whom, anyone spot a note of hypocrisy in Wilshere's recent comments that Arsenal need to 'be nasty' and 'get in the faces' of those annoying tiki-taka Spaniards?
The quote is:
*We'll learn from last year. When we've got the ball, we've got to keep it as well as they can. We need to get in their faces and win the ball back and, if you like, be a bit nasty with them.
There's no point one of us going after them. We have to press as a team and get the ball back.*
Hypocritical? Dunno, I don't recall Wilshere coming out & saying that he sick of getting kicked. I do recall seeing him go up to a wall of Wigan players at a free-kick, and trying to push some of them out of the way so he could stand in the wall. They were all about 6 inches taller than him, so he clearly isn't frightened of fronting up.
