I keep going out running, and I have to say I have yet to actually enjoy it- I am always thinking about when it's going to be over.
At what point does it become fun?
Runners high.
Had this yesterday. 16k mountain run with a 300 step climb near the end. Got to the top of the steps, legs felt like lead, ambled up to the top of the mountain, sucking violently at the air. The on the downward slight incline that followed, my legs loosened up again, and I felt like I could outrun anything on earth.
Its an amazing feeling, that I often get, when everthing (leg muscles, lungs, heart, core stability) kicks into action at the same time. Much as I love cycling, I've never had this feeling on a bike.
